Who we are
Shadow Academy Global (SAG) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2020 by like-hearted partners in order to eradicate youth unemployment in South Africa.

At Shadow Academy Global, we believe that training and personal development are fundamental to building sustainable partnerships. Our approach goes beyond education - we are committed to empowering, transforming, and making a lasting impact by creating environments where individuals thrive.
Through our partnership model, we provide long-term support to our partners, enriching their ecosystems to drive youth empowerment and employment opportunities. Our work contributes to broader environmental and social responsibility, ensuring that our beneficiaries receive the support they need to create a ripple effect of positive change.
Our first strategic partnership was with Shadow Careers, a pioneering job creation initiative built on impact sourcing. Together, we have designed purpose-specific short programmes that directly support and advance their core objectives, helping individuals build meaningful and sustainable career pathways.
As part of our commitment to making a tangible difference, we have also donated office furniture to our beneficiary, RLabs, further supporting their mission to uplift communities and drive change.
Every initiative we undertake is about creating opportunities, fostering resilience, and enabling long-term impact.

Our mission at Shadow Academy Global is to support young people going through career development programmes affiliated with our partners in order to create economic independence.
Permanent employment removes barriers to economic independence and allows young people to build a better future for themselves, their families, and communities.
